Trump Warns Iran of Severe Consequences Over Nuclear Talks
Rising tensions between the United States and Iran have once again pushed the Middle East toward uncertainty after US President Donald Trump issued a sharp warning over Iran’s nuclear program. Speaking after returning from Beijing, Trump said Iran must quickly agree to a stronger nuclear deal or face severe consequences. His remarks came after a long discussion with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, during which both leaders reportedly discussed Iran, regional security, and ongoing diplomatic efforts. Trump made it clear that time is running out for Tehran. According to reports, he warned that if Iran fails to present a better agreement soon, the United States could launch a much larger military response. He stressed that Washington still prefers a diplomatic solution but claimed Iran has not shown enough willingness to meet American demands regarding its nuclear ambitions. In an interview with Axios, Trump said the US is still open to negotiations and hopes Iran will return with a revised proposal. However, he also indicated that patience in Washington is fading rapidly. The White House is reportedly reviewing military options as tensions continue to rise. The warning came shortly after Trump’s phone conversation with Netanyahu, which lasted more than half an hour. Reports suggest Israeli security officials are also preparing for the possibility of a fresh conflict involving Iran. Trump did not reveal a deadline for negotiations but repeatedly emphasized that Iran could be “left with nothing” if it delays further. At the same time, diplomatic efforts are continuing behind the scenes. Pakistan and Qatar are reportedly trying to mediate between Washington and Tehran. Pakistan’s Interior Minister recently visited Iran for discussions with Iranian leaders, while Qatar’s Prime Minister has also held talks with officials from both countries. Meanwhile, American media reports suggest Trump has grown increasingly frustrated with Iran’s refusal to scale back its nuclear activities. Analysts fear that if negotiations fail, the region could move closer to another major military confrontation. With pressure building from both the US and Israel, the coming days may prove critical for the future of nuclear talks and stability in the Middle East.
