*Daughter From Rural Becomes an Inspiration: Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai Praises Outstanding Achievement* *Meritorious Student Kumari Kusum Lata Bipre Honoured During Sushasan Tihar, Received a Tablet* Raipur, May 17, 2026/ Kumari Kusum Lata Bipre, daughter of the small village of Kandel in Dhamtari district, has brought pride to the entire state through her talent, hard work and determination. Despite limited resources, she secured 97.40 per cent marks in the Board of Secondary Education examination through dedication and self-confidence, earning the fifth position in the state merit list. Her achievement has not only enhanced the prestige of Dhamtari district but has also set a new example of inspiration for girls from rural areas. During the programme organised in Dhamtari under Sushasan Tihar 2026, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai honoured Kumari Kusum Lata on stage and extended his best wishes for her bright future. The Chief Minister presented her with a shawl and shriphal as a mark of respect and also gifted her a tablet to encourage her further studies and technical education. Chief Minister Shri Sai stated that the daughters of the state and meritorious students are bringing laurels to Chhattisgarh through “excellent performance in education, sports, science and other fields”. He stated that rural talent has become the “new identity of a developed Chhattisgarh” and that the government is continuously working to provide quality education and better opportunities. He added that the success of Kumari Kusum Lata, who comes from an ordinary family, is an inspiring example of “hard work, values and determination”. Kumari Kusum Lata stated that she achieved this success through regular study, discipline and the support of her family. Her accomplishment has also inspired other students in the district towards education. Many girls from rural areas are now looking up to her as a source of motivation and inspiration. On the occasion, Mahasamund MP Smt Roopkumari Choudhary, Kurud MLA Shri Ajay Chandrakar, Dhamtari MLA Shri Omkar Sahu, Mayor Shri Ramu Rohra, Zila Panchayat President Shri Arun Sarwa, public representatives and a large number of citizens were present.
